National History Day is an international competition in which students create their own papers, physical exhibits, documentaries, or websites based on a historical theme. The competition takes several months of student-led research, construction, and writing.
The theme for 2026 was "Revolution, Reaction, and Reform". My exhibit on Inuit art combined physical media with written word, and discussed the evolution of Inuit art due to colonization. Ultimately, I won second place in the international exhibits category.
